Citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan to be able to stay on each other`s territory without registration since March 1
By March 1 Russia and Kazakhstan are to work out an agreement, according to which citizens of both countries would be able to stay on the territory of another state without registration for 30 to 90 days. Russian Minister of Industry and Energy Victor Khristenko informed about it at the press-conference in Astana.
"It is a crying injustice, when Kazakhstan citizens may stay in Russia for 3 days without registration, and citizens of Russia may stay on the territory Kazakhstan for 5 days", said Khristenko. He underlined, that for withdrawal of this "gap" in relations of two countries, the parties must "quickly and effectively" work out a new agreement.
Khristenko is a head of Russian delegation at the 24th conference of Group of the higher level on forming Unified economic territory, which is held in Kazakhstan capital.
